I have recently turned vegan for ethical reasons and therefore avoid all animal products. Friends of mine have told me that they have seen an advertisement which states that some (or even all) of your Smirnoff Vodka beverages are vegan. Quite obviously your products do not contain animal products such as milk and lard. However, in my experience a lot of products tend to contain hidden animal products or ingredients that may be of animal origin (flavourings) or have been filtered and/or clarified using animal products.
I would be grateful if you could provide me with both a list of Smirnoff vodkas that are vegan and their detailed list of ingredients (including these that do not have to be listed by law). I would also need to know if you use any kind of compound ingredients (and what they are composed of) as well as what other materials are used in the manufacturing process (including any that are not present in the end product or are present in very small amounts). All these questions relate to the packaging as well (e.g. glue containing casein for the labels).
I know that it is a lot of information that I am after. I would be absolutely thrilled if you could send me an answer to all my queries and I am sure that not only me but also a large number of fellow vegans would be thrilled to learn that we can have a glass or two.
